This unusual Waiheke stone cottage was lovingly hand-built by a passionate owner who wheelbarrowed every stone, and all materials, up a path to the building site, with the help of a friend. It was a labour of love and they built something very, very special in the early 1990's.

In 2001, circumstances changed for the owner who then re-located overseas. This cottage has been largely un-occupied and un-attended since then and needs some TLC.
