Spring Hill Station comprises approximately 575ha and is located 85 kilometres north of Napier on the banks of the Mohaka River. The property has a good balance of contour with approximately 290ha best described as flat to very easy rolling hills, with the remainder comprising medium hills with some steeper sidings. It is currently utilised as a breeding/finishing sheep and beef unit, together with deer finishing and velveting operation, plus for an extensive cropping programme. We are advised that Springhill traditionally winters in the vicinity of 7,000 stock units. The combination of good soil types, high rainfall, and the majority of Springhill being lower than 200m above sea level, provides a very mild climate, conducive to good growing conditions. Dwellings include a four bedroom manager's home, a three bedroom shepherd's cottage and a two bedroom single men's cottage, all of which are maintained to a high standard. Other improvements comprise an eight stand woolshed with covered yards, cattle yards, deer handling complex, shearers' quarters, stables, implement sheds/workshop and three haybarns.
