The Abel Tasman National Park is one of New Zealand's sunniest spots. Small yet perfectly formed; it is world renowned for its beautiful coastal scenery which is fully accessible on foot or by sea.
On the fringes of the park are some delightful little settlements that offer their residents the tranquillity that others can only aspire to. Tapu Bay, just a pebble toss from Kaiteriteri is one such location and it's here that you'll find this Kiwi classic bach that has all the charm you would expect from a holiday home but with a little more on offer than the average; a 1146sqm section with ample parking that borders both a reserve - and the beach!
This is sheltered, well maintained and offers open-plan living space that flows effortlessly to a timber balcony adjoining a generous entertaining deck, offering panoramic views across the Bay to the Richmond and Nelson Ranges beyond. The kitchen is modern with a good selection of storage options and practical easy-clean surfaces. The double bedroom is comfortable with a built-in wardrobe and sliding doors opening onto the deck that basks in afternoon and evening sun. The family washroom has a separate shower, toilet and vanity unit and is positioned close to the entrance enabling you to rinse off the salt and sand before entering the living areas. Outside, there is a large parking area with space for numerous vehicles plus a handy shed where you can store fishing gear, sports equipment, tools or other valuable items when the bach is either locked up for the winter or if it's rented out for summer. The large lawn rolls down to the boundary and with beach access this is the perfect playground for children. Imagine for a moment; the phrase 'we're bored' will never pass their lips!
