Going bush

To get 'to the other side' of the land you'll cross the picturesque Waitui Stream which epitomises the classic New Zealand crystal clear bush stream. Here you often meet the goats, pigs and deer enjoying some shade, a delicious drink and a nibble. With a bit of TLC the quad bike track could be remedied which carries you all the way to the hut providing the perfect base of operations for harvesting some of the animals that call the property home. Multiple streams cross the land and a reliable spring feeds a tank at the hut. A basic solar operation powers a radio and some lights and the gas burners provide what you need for a tasty meal at the end of a rewarding day.
