The place is beautiful and the potential is exciting!
This is the ideal spot to escape to with the kids and experience a real kiwi camping holiday. Explore the native bush and birdlife, make tracks down to the Waikaretaheke River on the eastern boundary of the property, or head to Lake Waikaremoana (just 2km up the road) for great fishing, boating and swimming or a multitude of other activities on and around the lake.
The block is in two lots, with a total area of 9.35 hectares. The property is all rather overgrown at the moment as it hasn't been camped on or used for a while. There was previously a formed track off Lake Road (State Highway 38) which lead to a cleared, level area (as seen in the photos) - perfect for camping now, or for building a hut, bach or home away from home one day. There were also some formed steps down to the river at the bottom of the property, however these too would need to be reinstated by the new owner.
Get away from it all and back to nature in this very special place.
