If you are considering Tony Rasmussen to list your property, I would recommend him with no hesitation. I have found him extremely hard-working, doing everything possible to get the best result for the vendor. Having being involved in Rural banking, the stock agent industry, and Rugby gives him a huge number of contacts. I found him very approachable and enjoyable to work with. To sum him up he is simply just a good all-round guy, and right from the word go felt I could trust him completely.

Selling a farm is a stressful time and Tony made the whole process run very smoothly for us. He kept us well informed with what was happening and guided us through the process of listing and selling. Tony was dedicated to the job of selling our property and worked very hard to give all interested parties the opportunity to view. We were kept up to date and he gave us good feedback as it came to hand. No question was too small and Tony was always available to answer his phone. Our lawyer even commented “Tony has done a great job.” We are happy to recommend Tony to anyone thinking of buying or selling a property. He made the process smooth and simple and we appreciate the partnership that we had together with the end goal being the sale of our property.

Our third generation property called Te Rangi is located in Northern Hawkes Bay and has been in Heays family for over one hundred years. The station is well known for its spectacular scenery and for the work done by Murray Heays to develop and pioneer the deer and velvet industries. Tony Rasmussen won the listing for two main reasons. First his detailed and factual proposal proved that he’d done his homework. Secondly the Bayleys brand and impressive sales network in support was compelling. Success however would require that Tony work closely with the Public Trustee as the vendor and that he also balance the competing interests and opinions of beneficiaries spread across four families in two countries. Tony certainly had his work cut out managing this while keeping the process on track. This was where his abilities really shone through. He put in long hours. His people and communication skills were excellent. We believe his experience and knowledge of rural banking coupled with his strong belief in the X factor of the property really helped to sell Te Rangi. We recommend Tony to promote and sell your property as he has the skills, expertise, contacts and experience to sell it very well. Thank you Tony we really appreciate all your efforts throughout this process.

To Whom It May Concern Our farm in Dannevirke has recently been sold by Tony Rasmussen of Bayleys Hawke’s Bay after a successful marketing campaign. The reason we went with Tony was that he had achieved strong sales in the region and when contacted just as a general enquiry I found him to be very helpful, was free with his time and advice and had a great attitude. This combined with his professional background and extensive rural network put him ahead of the pack in our view. But it was his straightforward, let’s get this job done approach, that full commitment that you want, was what really appealed to us. After meeting with Tony, we both agreed that an auction would be the best sales method for selling the property to achieve the best result. His advice regarding the marketing strategy that he recommended from his industry knowledge and previous experience was invaluable. The whole process from planning to auction date was laid out and well organised ahead of time so we knew what to expect and that we would be kept informed throughout the sales process. Throughout the sales campaign Tony’s commitment shone through, nothing was too much to ask, his rural work ethics and attitude came to the fore. He has a very communicable and easy going personality which made the interactions and information transfer between us and prospective purchasers free flowing. Tony kept us well informed as to the level of interest and was totally honest as to how many serious contenders were in the mix and really put in the hard yards throughout the final period to accommodate these players. We achieved a successful sale at auction with Tony’s negotiating skills being utilised to get it over the line. Overall it was a very good result, we were happy which was pleasing as it can be a very nerve racking experience, but it all seemed to flow fairly smoothly. We would definitely recommend Tony as an agent if you are thinking of selling your property, his skills and experience are a real asset along with his values and commitment. He is very well suited to the job and we are grateful for his services.

Last spring Tony 'Raz' marketed and sold our farm in Wairoa. Articulate and professional he left no stone unturned to make sure we got the best possible price for our land. We got lots of updates and a good clear picture of what was going on. Ours was a tender and we had 7 tenders to choose from and he gave us the best advice on who to sell to. I would recommend Raz to sell your land or even just to have a beer with. He's a top bloke.

Tony Rasmussen is a conscientious and dedicated Bayleys agent. He has exceptional facilitation and negotiation skills to work with both parties to secure a positive result. We appreciated his professionalism, time, and regular communication through the process of selling our property at Ruakituri and purchasing Melrose Station at Tutira. We have had a long association with Bayley’s and look forward to continuing our relationship with Tony and the Hawkes Bay team in the future.

I am pleased to be able to highly recommend Tony Rasmussen and Andy Hunter of Bayley’s Real Estate, Hawkes Bay, if you are considering selling your rural property. From their initial appraisal of our property, Pukenui Station, through until settlement we found Tony and Andy a pleasure to work with. They gave us valuable advice on how to present our farm for sale and together with their capable support staff, put together a comprehensive and professional campaign to market the property via multiple media platforms, as well as Bayley’s vast network of buyers. During the entire sales process we were kept regularly informed and received timely and detailed progress reports. Working as a team, Tony & Andy put in a huge amount of work taking prospective buyers across the property. Having two dedicated rural agents working in partnership gave us a real sense of comfort that ‘no stone was left unturned’ in reaching all possible buyers. Likewise with final negotiations, the vast experience of both agents and the support from Bayley’s management was evident and allowed us to exceed our expectations in a smooth and stress-free manner. Tony and Andy are extremely experienced and professional rural property agents, and I would have no hesitation in using their services again.

We sold our property consisting of a home and 13 hectares of flat land in the Awamate area in Wairoa, with Tony Rasmussen as our real estate agent. Tony had genuine interest in promoting our property in the manner we expected. He was professional, enthusiastic and we were delighted at the auction result. We have no hesitation in recommending Tony in his career.

J & C Brownlie

Over 2021 Tony successfully handled the sale of our sheep and beef property Melrose Station. The sale involved a number of complexities including a subdivision of the property, multiple bidders from different industries, an OIO process and ultimately two successful parties each buying half the property. Throughout the process Tony provided us with great expertise and sound advice. He was a critical part of achieving an overall result that was excellent both financially for us and also for the future of the Station. I fully recommend Tony.
