Receiving such accolades as the Bayleys Marlborough Rising Star Award (2019-2020), The Bayleys Marlborough Big Achiever Award (2021-2023), attainment in the Bayleys Marlborough 25 Million Dollar Club (2022), Bayleys Five Years of Service (2023) and more recently a prestigious nomination for the Chamber of Commerce “Young Business Person of the Year” (2023), he has quickly established his place in what is a very competitive industry.
Leaving Marlborough Boys College as the deputy head boy, Campbell had an early start in the real estate scene and has remained in his chosen profession since. Always knowing that the well-travelled path to university was never for him, an interest in property saw him snatched up by Glenn Dick and the Bayleys team, and his career began. Achieving his licensed salesperson status at the age of 18, he has forged ahead and built his business from the ground up.
No secrets that the early days were challenging. Months of canvassing, door knocking, and it certainly took some brave people to entrust their biggest asset to a 19 year old – but they did, and from then on, there has been no looking back.
Those days are now history. He has come a long way from pounding the pavements (with a promise from the boss of a new pair of shoes if the others wore out) and quick changes out of his business suit and onto a borrowed local pushbike to deliver sales material in rural areas. Whilst these approaches have altered and evolved, the impeccable work ethic and dogged tenacity have remained the same. Guided by a straightforward philosophy in his practice “be genuine, work hard and always do the right thing”, he has a profound respect for honesty and applies a high level of professionalism to every transaction.
In what is an ever-changing landscape, Campbell has a great love of property, and interaction, and his forte lies in connecting with people, building strong and genuine relationships. A forward thinker and a highly skilled communicator, what he enjoys the most about his job is helping people to achieve their desired goals, whatever their circumstances.
Without distractions or commitments, he has lofty goals and his sense of responsibility in providing excellent service is foremost in all dealings. Outside of work Campbell has a love of life and all it offers. Always keen for a new challenge, he is an avid squash and softball player, and also an active supporter of sports and the community. He willingly assists local groups; with lawn bowls, squash and touch teams, table tennis and the amputees club, being some of those in our district having received a helping hand.
