He represented and captained the NZ junior golf team from 2005-2008, was a member of the NZ men’s golf team 2007-2011, was Auckland Provincial Golf Champion in 2008, and was runner-up in the Singapore Open Amateur Championship 2009, and is the current course record holder at the Royal Auckland Golf Club with a 9 under par round of 63.
