Richard Faisandier has had extensive business experience in Wellington’s marine industry, having established and built up a successful company in Seaview, an area where he actively sells and leases commercial and industrial property.
He has been with Bayleys for 12 years and has consistently been one of Bayleys’ Top Achievers which is the "best of the best" for Bayleys' sales staff throughout New Zealand. He has focused on the Hutt Valley because it’s the area where he has lived and worked for more than 25 years. Half of Richard's yearly business is involved in leasing transactions and whether it be industrial, retail or office requirements, Richard has developed a commanding knowledge of current rentals and trends for all three asset classes in the Hutt Valley.
Richard has used his sales and marketing experience from his previous business background to benefit his clients, and has been extremely effective in maximising property values for vendors through planned marketing initiatives, which have culminated in multiple bidders competing for individual properties at auction or tender.
His results include the sale of the landmark Gibson Sheet Centre, a large office and retail complex in central Lower Hutt, which sold for $7.55 million, and the Peter Baker transport centre in Port Road, for $4 million.
Having been a commercial property owner and investor himself, Richard says he understands the needs of a range of property users from owner occupiers to landlords and tenants.
He has also specialised in selling large vacant surplus industrial property to developers or other end users.
Outside the office Richard is very passionate about boats, whether big or small, and deep sea fishing as well as maintaining a high level of fitness with road and mountain biking and has completed the Rotorua marathon and often competes in the Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge.
