Malcolm Penny has over 21 years in the valuation profession, returning to Christchurch in 2000 after working throughout the Waikato region, with over 18 years as a Registered Valuer.  From the position of Registered Valuer, Beca Valuations Limited in Christchurch (wholly owned by the Beca Group), he joined Simes Ltd, which then operated through the Knight Frank from late 2010.  In New Zealand Knight Frank has recently merged in to Bayleys Valuations Limited.  Malcolm holds the position of Senior Registered Valuer.

In terms of Malcolm’s valuation capability he can undertake valuations throughout Selwyn, Ashburton, Christchurch and Hurunui Districts of residential, lifestyle, commercial, industrial and special purpose properties for a wide of purposes including preloss (insurance), compensation, rental, insurance, finance, mortgage and financial reporting purposes.

Malcolm has experience as a expert witness to the High Court.

In the past Malcolm has experience in working on nationwide portfolio valuations for insurance and financial reporting purposes.
