I engaged Katie based on her photo. I wanted someone who portrayed “real”, not marketing hype and who was pleasant. I wanted a no-frills sale in the sense that I wanted a fair price for my property but I didn’t want to be “sold to” or badgered by an agent. And most importantly I wanted someone who I was confident would work for me, rather than the buyers. I wanted a clear intelligent communicator and Katie proved to be all that I required. She worked with what I wanted (no open homes, masks to be worn) without qualms and kept me informed during the process. Although I knew the market had slowed and thus a sale could take more time than a year ago (and prices could be lower), Katie was extremely positive that she could sell the property and was very supportive during the process. She managed the marketing well, putting thought into how to best portray the home. Although she consulted on this, I found no fault with her judgement.
