John has worked in the property industry for over 50 years, starting as an engineer working in land development, and has worked in all facets of the property industry, from design, construction, development, sales, and marketing. He also worked in Corporate real estate for Lion Nathan and was the property director responsible for selling down both the LD Nathan, and Lion Portfolios in the late 80,s, where over $500 million in asset sales were under his portfolio. He started his direct real estate career by selling his well-established property management company Centre Corporation to Colliers International and began in real estate in 1994, he joined Bayleys in 1999 and also had a period with Sotheby's International Realty, but returned to Bayleys in 2015.
As a senior Broker John has transacted over $1,000,000,000 in sales, with experience in all facets of real estate. In the last 10 years, he has specialised in dealing with high net worth clients throughout NZ selling mainly high-end Waterfront properties and has an established database of clients. His understanding of the real estate process from marketing to the end sale is second to none.
