With a focus on the "country" market from North of the Auckland Harbour Bridge, John successfully transacted in excess of $275 million and over 12,470 hectares worth of farms, lifestyle blocks, and development land since 2009.

Prior to his 15 years at Bayleys John earned a Diploma of Agriculture and a Bachelor of Commerce and Management (Marketing) at Lincoln University. He then went on to work, in senior sales and marketing roles, for a number of companies with involvement in the rural sector, including Monsanto and ASB Bank.
