With Jan’s 36 years of experience in the exciting world of real estate the thrill and satisfaction of working with people, helping guide them through the sale and purchase of property has never faded.

Jan’s reputation over these years has been, and continues to be, based on sincerity, honesty, integrity, and knowledge. Engaging with people and building a rapport is a sound basis for developing a trusting relationship with vendors and purchasers alike; subsequently leading to repeat business spanning many years and at least two generations of some families.

Over the years Jan’s opportunities within the real estate industry have been diverse – covering administration, property management, co-owner with her husband in very successful business, marketing, sales, and mentoring salespeople. Working closely with developers and builders has fuelled a long-standing interest in house plans, subdivision planning and in recent years lifestyle and retirement dwellings.

Jan has been very successful throughout her chosen career. Earning Rookie of the year for sales back in 1995 and progressing to be 2nd in New Zealand when working for First National. Upon making the move to the exciting Bayleys team in 2003 it did not take long for Jan to be in the top 5% to 10% of Bayleys salespeople.

Specialising in residential, coastal properties and subdivisions covering from Golden Bay to Mapua and Bronte/Hoddy Roads has been the main focus of her business. With Kaiteriteri being he stand out area. As she has entered her more mature years Jan has found herself working alongside people entering retirement, grappling with down-sizing, and looking at moving closer to family which has developed into a growing market.

Having a “do it now” attitude has been one of Jan’s attributes. Her positivity and passion combined with her desire to achieve the best outcome for her clients is apparent and as a result many of her clients have become good friends. Giving time to sit down and chat with vendors and purchasers - to listen, put them at ease about the process of selling and buying, is so rewarding.
