Campbell started his working career with national stock and station firm Dalgety New Zealand Limited, before moving to work for Castrol New Zealand Limited as a specialist oil representative.
In 1987, Campbell commenced his real estate career and has been focused on commercial and industrial agency work the entire time, albeit he was a partner in a multi-disciplined practice for several years. Campbell headed up the Christchurch Agency division for global property group DTZ and was a member of its New Zealand management committee prior to joining Knight Frank NZ in 2010 to run the Christchurch Agency business. In June 2018 Knight Frank NZ merged with Bayleys and Campbell took over the management of the combined agency teams. Now after a total of 16 years in management, Campbell is now stepping back into leasing and selling.
Campbell has acted for numerous organisations and individuals, including government departments, international and national corporations, property trusts, property developers and private investors, and has a very broad range of expertise developed over many years in changing markets. He has also been involved in office park developments from concept through to leasing and on-sale, as well as various industrial stand-alone and unit developments.
