With over 20 years of experience, Cameron is an Associate Director in Bayleys’ Capital Markets team. He has a specific focus on the Auckland Central and City Fringe locations and has been involved in over $400 million worth of commercial property transactions in these locations. Cameron has assisted some of New Zealand’s biggest corporates to maximise their investments including PMG Funds, MediaWorks, KPMG and Air New Zealand to name but a few. His expertise is well sought after as he aims to build long-term trusted relationships with his clients and their assets.

Cameron’s aim is to be a trusted advisor to his clients, someone they can rely on for honest, up-to-date, accurate information. He specialises in knowing how to best position a property in the market and, importantly, how to time its release to obtain the best outcome. This often involves strategizing with his clients, taking into account their portfolio, aims and goals – both now and into the future. He takes no greater pleasure than achieving a premium sales outcome for his clients.

In addition to having significant transactional experience, one of Cameron’s strengths is campaign management. He has been involved in many high-profile campaigns and is fully attuned to the professionalism and diligence required. In particular, Cameron is very experienced in working alongside vendors to ensure successful stakeholder management, which has seen him assist a range of listed companies, government departments, charitable organisations, partnerships and incorporated societies to achieve great outcomes where stakeholder endorsement was critical to effecting a sale. Having operated in the Auckland market for so long his clients also benefit from Cameron’s significant buyer and seller networks as sometimes the best deals happen off market.

Born and bred in Auckland, Cameron offers grass-roots knowledge of the Auckland property market. Starting his career as an analyst in the Bayleys Research and Consultancy division in 2001, Cameron’s reporting and analysis of the Auckland CBD and CBD fringe office and retail markets has been published in major national publications. His in-depth knowledge and expertise saw him immediately win the Sales Rookie of the year title, during his immediate move into real estate sales as a broker in Bayleys Auckland and City Fringe Commercial Team.
