Sizeable Kiwifruit Production Orchard

11.26 can/ha of kiwifruit, comprising 8.26 can/ha of Hayward and 3 can/ha of Tahi Kiwiberry, all growing to a high standard. A real plus for the buyer of this orchard is the extra vines planted in the Tahi and young Hayward blocks making conversion to new varieties an easy transition. The orchard has a good water source with a 5,000,000 litre pond, irrigation and frost protection where required. There is an Ozone fertigation system in place and operating well, and although no representations can be made, it is believed this assists with PSA control. The orchard has been developed with good agbeam pergola, fastrack shelter in several blocks, water bore and 2 shares in Te Matai Water Scheme, implement shed/workshop and load-out area.
