Specialising in the Commercial sector, Matt was involved in a significant level of Standalone and Unit Title sales and leases all throughout the Auckland region, and in 2020 was promoted to the position of Senior Broker.

From 2021 to 2022, Matt focused on the Development and Project Marketing sector, heading up the Project Marketing Division for a global real estate brand, marketing and selling projects with a combined market value of over $500 million across New Zealand, from development sites, terrace housing, apartments through to sections, and leading a team of 15 specialised project marketing agents.

Returning home to Bayleys in August 2022, has developed a strong understanding of both the local and global markets. Together with Bayleys and their market-leading resources, Matt has his finger on the pulse of real estate property trends and developments, ensuring opportunities are maximised and clients’ assets and expectations are surpassed. A product of the highly regarded University of Auckland, Matt graduated with a conjoint Bachelor of Property and Bachelor of Commerce (with a double major in Marketing and Management) degree. Influenced by his Chinese heritage, Matt values integrity, respect, dedication, hard work and diligence, and he has that willingness to go that extra mile to ensure successful results for his clients.
